Ogre Canyon Trail Hike

While on our camping trip to Kinky Lake Alberta, we found a trail to hike. Ogre Canyon Trail is off the west side of Brule Alberta. I have to be honest, this was not my favorite hike. You walk along an off-highway vehicle road almost the entire 14.6 km. Don’t get me wrong, the scenery and the countryside are worth the hike but it’s not my favorite hike. If you are looking for a fairly easy walk to a canyon then this might be the walk for you.

We did come across some really neat areas on the trail but nothing worth going back to see. The video below from the Gen X-ventures YouTube channel highlights this trail and our camping trip to Kinky Lake.

 

There’s also some video of the trail around Kinky Lake itself that was a lot of fun to walk. It was a better hike than Ogre Canyon.
